Daily Stamp
Today
No items yet. Add one below, or tap an example to start.
Tap to mark, tap again to undo. Count items go up by one each tap; time items start and stop a timer.
Calendar
Even before you mark today, the days you kept up to yesterday still count.
Items
Up to 10 items, names up to 20 characters. Count and time items are marked once they reach their goal.
Records file
Clearing your browser data clears these records too. Export a file now and then, and you can bring them back.
Importing replaces what you have now with the records in the file.
What Daily Stamp does
Set up the things you do every day as items, then mark off the ones you did today. What you mark stacks up as dots on this month's calendar, so you can look back on a single screen.
How are days in a row counted
We walk back one day at a time from today and count the days you marked. If you have not marked today yet, counting starts from yesterday, so the number does not drop to zero before the day is over. Switch "Showing" to a single item and we count that item only.
How do count items work
Set a goal and each tap on the row adds one, shown as "3/5". The day is marked once you reach the goal, and that is when a dot appears on the calendar. The minus button on the right takes one back, and tapping once more after you are full returns to zero. Changing the goal later leaves past records untouched.
How does timing work
Tap the row of a time item to start timing, and tap again to stop. Minutes and seconds count up as "12:05", and the day is marked once the time you logged reaches the goal — the same rule as count items. If you timed something by mistake, the undo button on the right clears that day's time in one go.
What if I leave the timer running
It keeps going. What we store is not the elapsed time but the moment you started, so it works out the same whether you switch tabs, reload, or close the browser and come back. Only one timer runs at a time — starting another item stops the first one and logs the time it had.
What if timing crosses midnight
It is split at midnight and counted on both days. Start at 11:40 pm and stop at 12:30 am, and yesterday gets 20 minutes while today gets 30. You really did spend time on both days, so the calendar should say so. If a timer ran for more than a day because you forgot it, we log at most 24 hours.
Can I move my records to a file
Export under "Records file" and everything so far is saved as a single file. Import it later and your items and records come back. Time still on the clock is settled up to that moment and included.
Import replaces what you have now — it does not merge two files. Item numbers are assigned per device, so merging would attach another device's records to the items on this one. That is why it asks once more before replacing.
Where are my records stored
Only in this browser (localStorage). Nothing is sent to a server and there is no account. They do not show up on your other devices, and clearing your browser data clears them too.
What if I tap the same item twice in a day
For check items the second tap undoes the first. A day is either marked or not for a given item, so tapping again does not stack up a count.
What happens to past records if I remove an item
They go with it. The dots on the calendar belong to the item, so once the item is gone there is nothing for them to point at. If you only want to rename it, edit the name field instead — records stay put.
When does the day roll over
At midnight on this device. Once midnight passes, today's row is empty again and everything you marked yesterday stays on the calendar.
Can I see past months
Use the arrows above the calendar to step back. There is nothing to mark or see ahead, so it does not go past the current month. Days in a row is always counted from today, so moving months does not change it.
