How the shuffle works
It walks the list from the back, swapping each item with any slot at or before it. Done this way, every order that can come out is as likely as every other.
Can the same order come up again
It can. Each shuffle starts fresh and does not steer around the last result — the fewer items there are, the more often the same order comes back.
What it is for
Presentation order, turns in a game, whose week it is to clean. The order you get can be sent on as a share link.
How is the share link built
Share puts the items you wrote and the result into the address and builds a link. Opening that link shows the same order. It holds up to 10 characters per field and up to 12 items — past that the address gets cut in messaging apps.
The address is scrambled so the values are not readable, and changing one character stops the result from showing. That catches links garbled in transit or edited by hand. It does not confirm who ran it, or when. What you wrote goes into an address only when you build a link, and is not sent anywhere.
